" I started A.E.T. from my love of basketball mixed with creating strong bonds with athletes on and off the court. My coaching incorporates getting the know what the athlete needs, providing the skills for them to grow, making sure they are mechanically moving correctly as well as holding athletes accountable off the court in their recovery, nutrition and external factors".

Mother of A.E.T. Athlete:
" We are incredibly grateful for how you have helped him. Tonight in the year 8 game he played with a level of confidence i've never seen in him. It was crazy. This is what I love to see- not only the winning but the confidence and self belief it gives these kids, so good to watch. You are a HUGE part of that for him, Thanks a million Jimmy".

"Working at AET means I get to work with athletes on their basketball skills, and teach them the fundamentals the correct way. I love creating fundamentally sound basketball players, and pushing them out of their comfort zone to learn new skills to incorporate into their game. Creating a bond with my clients is super important to ensure a comfortable environment for them to make mistakes and learn from them without judgement. It also helps with developing the athlete in off court aspects. "

" My coaching, through AET provides aspiring athletes with all the tools necessary to compete at their best, covering the holistic nature of sports performance.
Through athletic training, specified skill work and tests of mental resilience, I help athletes both compete and excel.
Working with AET provides me with the opportunity to teach and assist athletes in the basketball space which I am extremely passionate about. My passion for both basketball and coaching drives me to get the very best out of each individual athlete, on and off the court.
Creating positive relationships is extremely important to both myself and the team at AET, as our message has an impact on athletes that goes beyond the basketball court".

"I played in the Manly Warringah Representative system for 3 years which exposed me to a lot of fantastic coaches and even more game like scenarios. I started coaching school teams, which led to coaching the U12 D2 Manly Boys team.
Through all of it James was my coach and he asked if I wanted to help as many kids get better and enjoy basketball as possible. My coaching style focuses on the fundamentals of basketball and aims to create an understanding of why we do the things we do to create opportunities for ourselves on the court. We also have a great time doing it".

"Throughout my basketball journey, I have had the benefit of working with great coaches that have been pivotal to my success, so I understand the impact a coach can make on a player's development. I have been fortunate to play at a national level representing NSW, and also in the Australian schoolboys championships, and now, more recently a scholarship to play college basketball in Brooklyn, New York.
I love working at AET, where I am able to help athlete’s with their physical and mental development, paving the way for clients to grow into not only great players but also better people. I believe coaching sessions should be both challenging and fun, fostering skill development and a love of the game".

"Being a part of AET gives me the opportunity to help develop the up-and-coming basketball players in our community and allows me to impart on them the knowledge and understanding I’ve accumulated throughout my years of playing.
I understand that whether it’s school or representative basketball the coaches you have along the way are essential in not only improving your skill as a player but also helping you stay motivated whilst enjoying your basketball experience.
By pushing athletes at training to create a competitive yet enjoyable environment I hope to nurture their skill development and understanding of the game whilst creating a memorable bond between coach and athlete".
